Lungs For Jerry

Donation protected
My Story. My name is Jerry Randolph Hall II. I am a 22 year old Male who was unfortunately born with the terminal illness, Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Now, CF is a genetic disease that is primarily known to cause thick mucus in the lungs, blocking air ways, as well as causing Pancreatic issues and a high risk of Diabetes. My personal struggles from CF consist of a Poorly Functioning Pancreas, Fast Heart Beat, Chronic Sinus Infections, Multiple cases of Severe Pneumonia, Malnutrition, Lung Failure, a Immunocomprimised State, Liver Disease, off and on Diabetic Issues, as well the removal of both my Gallbladder and Appendix. In 2015 I was blessed to receive a Bilateral Lung Transplant, and even though I recovered in record time and was able to get back to the things I loved in life such as volunteering for a non-profit dance team teaching kids and young adults how to Clog Dance, and running music as well as performing at shows around the County such as local nursing homes. I also volunteer at local Conventions and Cosplay. Unfortunately about 6-8  months after my initial Transplant, I was diagnosed with Lung Rejection. There are not too many treatments to stop rejection however, I was determined to beat it. The hospital tried 3 different treatments to flush out the antibodies that were attacking my new lungs. Photophersis, where they replace the plasma in my blood with that of donated plasma, and artificially made plasma. When that did not work, they tried a type of Chemo through IV, and when this treatment failed we tried from what my doctor said was my last hope which was radiation and Finally after multiple Radiation sessions my rejection was brought to a halt. As great this was, it was only a small bandage on a bigger wound. The damage had already been done to my lungs, and even though I was gratefully living longer than what the doctors stated only weeks beforehand, I was back to being short of breath, and my lung function was permanently damaged. Now after all those struggles, the stress and frightening situations that my family and I have gone through. I am back on my knees because I am unfortunately dying. The affects of my rejection have finally caught up to me and I am desperately in need of another bilateral lung transplant. I'm only 22 years old, I have never asked why this happened to me, I have never wanted pity, and I still don't, I just want to have my life, and it is horrible that I have been denied by my hospital as well as others, so much to the point that my doctors have been talking to me about signing Do not Resuscitate forms. I'm not done fighting but it seems as if these doctors and facilities are wanting me to die, pushing me towards the edge of my grave more and more. I still have so much love to give, to both my family and my friends, How can they tell me that I'm not worth saving? I hate asking for money, yes money might help if my Insurance doesnt come through, or if I have to relocate to find a Hospital out of my Sate of Florida. All I really want though is a chance for my life to continue, a life I fight to keep every day, trying to focus on taking the next breath, praying each one isn't my last. Please if you can help in any way, Even if it is just sharing my story. I am not ready to die, I'm not ready to leave my friends, my family. I feel like I just got my dad back from overseas. I will relocate absolutely anywhere if it means I can live. I have now been denied by all Florida transplant centers and my will is strong but I can feel my body start to weaken.
