Help for Lupe Calixtro
Donation protected
Early in July someone broke into Lupe Calixtro's storage locker in Vallejo and made off with $12,000.00 worth of tools that he had amassed over the last ten or so years. These include chainsaws, mowers, pruners, rigs for tree climbing and tree removal, leaf blowers and many expensive construction tools.
He had no insurance and the storage facility offered no help in terms of recouping his losses. The storage facility has security cameras but the footage was inconclusive as to who did the crime. The Vallejo police were notified and an online police report was completed but the police didn’t hold out much hope that they would be able to find the perpetrators or the tools.
To add insult to injury, this comes within a year of Lupe’s truck being stolen and his wife being robbed of $2500.00 cash that was being used to pay their rent.
This most recent theft is quite a hardship as he will need to replace all the tools that were stolen and they are expensive and essential for his work.
I am helping Lupe because he has been working for me and my family for the last eleven years and he has consistently and thoroughly completed twice-monthly yard maintenance, deck repair, fence repair, tree trimming and handyman jobs around my home in San Anselmo. He is reliable, does lovely work with his crew and prices his jobs fairly. He's been helpful to me as well as to my neighbors and friends who have hired him. I am upset that he’s had to go through all of this hardship and has no safety net to get back on his feet.
Please consider donating any amount to help Lupe buy new tools.
The money gifted will go directly to Lupe Calixtro. I will not be distributing the funds, GoFundMe will do their good work herein. My goal is to be of service to a friend who has helped me many times over the years.
Thank you for your consideration in donating to Lupe Calixtro. Your kind help is gratefully appreciated.
