Hello,
Thank you for checking out our fundraising page. On the morning of July 12th, my father suffered 2 severe strokes, one to each side of his brain. While in the hospital he started to suffer from seizures and had bad bleeding in his brain. After a CT scan was done on my father we were informed that his brain damage was too severe and that he was only alive because of the support he was receiving from the breathing tube. My father's worse nightmare has now become his reality. It was always against his wishes to be alive only because machines were keeping him alive.
To respect my father's wishes we removed him from life support on the morning of July 21st. He always told us that he wanted to die alone and that he didn't want anybody to be there when he finally passed. We waited with him all day but I do believe he did not want us to see him take his last breath. My father later passed in the evening when he was finally alone.
My father was a blue-collar worker his entire life. He worked hard and unfortunately wasn't paid very well for it. He didn't have a pension, a house or very many other possessions. Burial services are pretty expensive and when going through his belongings we found he left behind some unpaid bills.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I understand not everybody can donate but if you could please share the page that would be a great help.
