Lupi and Larry Coursey

Well as life stories go, this one is for my sister Lupi Coursey and her husband Larry Coursey. I Hazel(Agaffia) Humphreys am asking for your support and prayers their behalf. This story is difficult to write. Larry has been in and out of the hospital since October in Augusta, Georgia due to autoimmune disease CREST. This syndrome is a type of scleroderma, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and fibrosis (thickening) in the skin, small blood vessels, joints, lungs. This has caused a multitude of complications including heart attacks and blood loss that have been difficult on both of them. On top of this they lost their only son, Todd Coursey in a devastating accident just about a year and half ago. They always put, Todd first and did their best to support his goals and dreams. Larry devoted his time to Boy Scouts and became a Scout Master. Lupi was the as you can guess the support mom. Todd went onto being successful and achieve top rank in the Navy and NASA, and advanced to Lieutenant Commander. They would go to Todd's running marathons and bicycle tours, alway proud. Todd is survived by his two daughters Isobel and Madolynn which he adored and did his best to instill in them a love of family and friends.
