Lupton Fire Chief Wally Scott

On March 5th, 2023 Wally suffered his first seizure where he went to the ER and was discharged home. The following day he had 2 more and was transferred to McLaren Bay Region where he spent 12 days recovering from those plus 4 more he had while there along with a fractured arm and shoulder that was fixed during this hospital stay. He was discharged home where he was recovering when Wally had two more seizures on March 31st. He has now been transferred to McLaren Flint where more tests are being run and they are waiting to see if they are going to do surgery on the mass they found on the right side of his brain. He is no longer able to drive for a minimum of 6 months but they anticipate a year, hence he is no longer able to haul crude oil, which was his only source of income.
While he awaits a possible brain surgery the past medical bills and household bills are starting to come in and we don’t want him worrying over them while he tries to focus on this current obstacle. I started this as an alternative for anyone who won’t be able to come to his benefit or would prefer this. Every little bit helps and we’re so grateful for all the help we’ve already received. Thank you - Cara.
