Lupus Treatment Program

Hi! My name is Sandra Sy and I was diagnosed with Lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) in June 2020. I'm fundraising to enroll in Caplan Health Institute (6 month program) which uses a functional medicine approach to treat individuals through lifestyle changes in a holistic manner in addition to conventional/traditional medicine. The money would go towards my labs, blood works, check-ups, supplements, resources, etc to help me navigate my illness and be able to achieve remission. Lupus is an invisible illness and those walking with it may not show symptoms outwardly because the body's immune system is attacking its own tissues and organs; an inward battle. Through this program, I hope to not only learn about lifestyle shifts to relieve my discomfort but also help others in their journey of managing their chronic illness. Overall, I aim to spread awareness of this disease and to have my energy levels back to feel normal again. Any amount of prayers or donations would be greatly appreciated.
