Luvable Dog Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity located in Eugene, Oregon. Luvable is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to re-homing exceptional, loving dogs who have been rescued from high-kill shelters where they had little chance of being adopted. Luvable does not receive any federal or state funding, it relies solely on donations from the public.
Blossom the pug, had been returned to Luvable after her family had some unexplained changes. She had to have her nasal passage opened and made wider so that she can breathe more easily. She also had soft palate surgery and a stone removal. This surgery cost almost $1300. We always do everything we can to make these dogs live the happiest and healthy lives that they can!
Bunny-the-PugBunny spent days in Corvallis at OSU in an oxygen chamber unable to breathe on her own due to severe clots in her lungs. The clots were caused by dead heart worms that died and broke apart after her heartworm treatment in South Korea. The worm parts then traveled to the lungs, causing clots and damage to the point where her lungs could not provide her with enough oxygen. Pretty horrible, huh? Bunny is now on medications that are supposed to break up the clots. All we can do is wait and hope her body can heal enough to support itself. She is back at Luvable getting all the care and luv we can provice! Bunny is an incredibly sweet and gentle dog and although we had only just met her (Bunny just joined us from @roadogs after rescue in South Korea) she had already won our hearts!!! Please consider helping as her bill at OSU was over $7600. Please consider donating to our Medical Fund so that we can save even more special dogs!! They deserve the best we can give them and every time you donate, we can do more!!!
