Celebrating the memory of Luz Maria Mendez

It is with our deepest sadness that I write this for our mother Luz Maria Mendez who passed away suddenly February 11th 2024.

Our mother moved to America with our father in 1978 from Colombia. She was a tremendously hard worker. Our mother created a beautiful, and inspired life for herself and others. There are no words to express the loss we feel. For those who were blessed to know our mother you would know she was the kindest ray of light. She always had a smile on her face, and she was the best cheerleader any person could ask for. She leaves behind her husband Dagoberto Mendez and four daughters Natalie, Laura, Sabrina and Lorena.

While we still deal with the intense sudden shock and unexpectedness of our beautiful mother's passing, any and all support is greatly appreciated.

Con nuestra más profunda tristeza escribo esto para nuestra madre Luz María Mendez, quien falleció repentinamente el 11 de febrero de 2024.

Nuestra madre se mudó a Estados Unidos con nuestro padre en 1978 desde Colombia. Ella era una trabajadora tremendamente dura. Mi mama creó una vida hermosa e inspirada para ella y los demás. No hay palabras para expresar la pérdida que sentimos. Aquellos que tuvieron la suerte de conocer a nuestra madre sabrán que ella fue el rayo de mi madre más amable. Ella siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro y era la mejor animadora que cualquier persona podría pedir. Deja atrás a su esposo Dagoberto Mendez y cuatro hijas Natalie, Laura, Sabrina y Lorena.

Gracias por el apoyo de todos. Estamos inmensamente agradecidos y gracias por sus oraciónes y bendiciones.
