Luz Sanchez Anzures memorial

Luz Sanchez Anzures passed away Friday, July 15th 2022 while attending BSA Summer Camp at Camp Meriwether on the Coast of Oregon with the Manteca, CA Troop 423. The troop assisted with flight arrangements to get her husband of 19 years, Armando, on the next flight to Oregon to be with their 11 year old son, Tonalle.
This fund was designed to help relieve the financial strain of bringing her back to California, the funeral services, and whatever other costs they may incur while they adjust to this devastating loss. (Basically I just want them to be able to focus on each other and healing, without having to stress about the money).
Luz loved to travel and was very excited about an upcoming once in a lifetime trip to New York and Washington D.C., with Tonalle and his best friend. We would like for Tonalle to still be able to take this trip, as a chaperone has already been secured.
Luz had been the Cubmaster of Boy Scouts of America troop 423 for several years and is responsible for Scouts being able to Bridge into Troops 423 and 2223 with their Arrow of Light. She has always been an incredible supporter of our Troop and the Cubmaster for each of our Cub Scouts who have Bridged into the Troop. Her passing hurts us all deeply.
