Lydia Elking - Our Beautiful Angel

Our beloved baby sister and daughter, Lydia Elking, was innocently shot and killed on February 18, 2023.

My family feels so much emptiness and pain right now. We are completely devastated, and would like to give Lydia the memorial she deserves to say our final goodbyes. Any donations will go towards funeral expenses, and the rest will go towards the bereavement process.

Lydia was a perfect, precious daughter and sister. She was also a kind and loving friend to many. She touched SO many lives with her radiant energy and beautiful smile.

There aren’t enough words in the world to describe how perfect she was. Lydia was so talented and special. She was an amazing soccer player (a starter on her high school varsity team as a freshman). She was so smart, kind, pure-hearted and giving. She was an adventurer. She loved getting out of the house, even it was just taking a car ride while dancing to music. Lydia was always eager to see what the world had to offer. She loved meeting new people, making new friends, and creating lasting memories. She was always looking for ways to create fun experiences with those she loved most. Her beautiful spirit and love for the world and it’s people will never be forgotten.

We can’t wait to see you again Lydia. We love you forever and always. Any prayers would be appreciated. Please tell Lydia you love her so she feels our warmth and endless love.
