Lyle Hanson

Hi, my name is Breanna Hanson, the niece of Lyle Hanson. I, along with my dad and siblings have created this page to help Lyle, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. Lyle has been doing rounds of chemotherapy treatments for the past 3 months. He is unable to work and is in need of support. This is his second time enduring this difficult journey, as he was diagnosed with prostate cancer 4 years ago and underwent surgery and 37 treatments of radiation.

Lyle enlisted in the Army in 1981 when he was 17 and spent 10 years serving our country. He worked in various capacities: airborne air assault, the infantry, combat engineering, trucking, and as a sapper. Additionally, he is a Gulf War Veteran.

After his service, he began trucking over the road and continued to do so until his diagnosis.
