Lyndsey's Lyme Treatment

My dear friend Lyndsey has been battling a "mystery Illness" for many years. Many of you know our family's terrifying journey with our daughter Callie and her health crisis.   For those of you who don't and would like to, click here.  Much like Callie, Lyndsey has had to fight for a diagnosis and we finally know what is causing her debilitating illness. Like Callie, Lyndsey has Lyme Disease, a tick borne infection that wreaks havoc on every system of the body. But Lyndsey doesn't only have Lyme disease, she has multiple other infections that also sometimes accompany a tick bite. None of these pathogens are easy to treat by themselves, but when combined, specialist care is necessary. Until she gets specialized care, these infections will continue to cause debilitating symptoms and possible long term damage. Lyme Disease is very misunderstood and doctors who specialize in it are difficult to get insurance coverage for, especially in California where we live. Lyndsey's best hope is to go where Callie was treated and cured, at a specialized Medical Institute in Mexico Called Sanoviv. The cost for this treatment is not small and insurance will not cover it. For over two weeks of intense inpatient treatment it will cost about $27,000. It is worth every penny. The program is carefully designed to eradicate multiple infections from the body. And it is not easy. Lyndsey will need our prayer as well as our financial help. 
          Throughout our family's  nightmare, we have looked for meaning and purpose in our journey. While we many never know the full answer as to why this happened to us,  we have been given the opportunity to help  friends get diagnosed and seek care for chronic Lyme disease. We have several friends who were recently treated at Sanoviv for Lyme and have had miraculous healing. This is our hope and prayer for Lyndsey. 
          Lyndsey is a beautiful wife and mother to three boys. She is loved in our community and is one of the funniest people I know. She is fiercely loyal and gives to those around her in every way she can. Her husband, Jason is a hard working electrician who has built a very respected business in our area.  At the time of her diagnosis, they were in the process of selling their home and moving to Tennessee.
