Lyndsey’s knee surgery

Hi guys!

My name is Lyndsey Glover and I currently play football for Lye Town Women FC. I have played football, competitively, for over 24 years for the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stourbridge. Like most of us involved in football, it has become part of my personality and a huge part of my life.

Unfortunately, whilst on holiday, I had an accident which caused freak damage to my MCL and my meniscus. After an MRI scan and a knee consultation, it has been determined that I will need surgery to reattach my mensiscus.

This surgery is imperative for me to return to football competitively, but also, most importantly, for me to return to work as a secondary school teacher and Head of Year; and comfortably move around school without pain.

Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be hugely appreciated and will help towards the cost of my surgery.
