Lynette Benge Brooks Benefit

Donation protected
My dear friend Lynette Benge-Brooks and I met in school at Pryor Junior High, Pryor, Oklahoma. She is a “sunny” person and always has been!

You would never know she has been handed a lot in her life. She has always been strong in her Christian faith and that has kept her going. She is a breast cancer survivor. She and her husband Rick have done a great job of raising autistic twins. Rick and Lynette formed a great team, loving and nurturing their daughters and meeting their needs despite all the challenges inherent in such a situation. They worked and cared for their family for many years. Rick’s health slowly started deteriorating several years ago and he was unable to work any longer. Lynette, as always, worked part-time and was still always there for her husband and children and trusting God. Most of the time financially, they made it. They always did emotionally. There is a lot of love in this family!

Rick suddenly passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, six days before their 26th wedding anniversary.

Lynette and her daughters are now facing huge challenges, financially and emotionally. She has several needs, listed below, that are particularly crucial right now.

• $5,000 for a new furnace system – since last year, the family has only had a space heater.
• $2,100 for Funeral costs
• $1,300 car repair for the family car
• $5,000 for a new septic system
• The remaining $11,600 for mortgage and/or house repairs
