Below is Lynn’s journey in her own words…

My cancer journey started in June.Two mammograms 2 needle biopsy’s , a bilateral MRI and a BRAC genetic test with a final diagnosis in August …. Stage 1 Her2 + cancer in my left breast.

I have elected for a lumpectomy on Oct. 9 th with radiation and chemo to be determined after my surgery.

Needless to say it has all been overwhelming .

We had to cancel all of our summer art shows and lost all the income we would have generated.

I have a high deductible health care plan. There are a lot of high deductibles we do not have the income to cover.

Both Steve and I are artists … there is not a second income to fall back on.

There is no playbook for all of this!!!

My husband Steve has been my rock.

It is literally taking the life out of us.

Get screened… Do your homework..
