Lynn Belanger Osborne Headstone and Celebration of Life

Hi my name is Roxanne Coutu. I lost my sister on Friday October 4th. It was not expected! She died while taking a nap. I was on my way to drop off a trailer to her and was looking forward to one of her awesome hugs!!! My sister gave the best hugs! She leaves behind her daughter Mia/ Diamond and her son Damian. She also leaves behind the love of her life Collin/ Ozz. It was a great shock to us to lose her without any known cause. We hope to have a cause within the next few weeks.

We are receiving help with the cremation and the burial cost. We would have had help with the cemetery plot cost but the size of plot needed was not allowed/covered. They do not allow family to pay the difference between the two different plot sizes. It was choose what they offer or do not get help with the plot. We did run into difficulty in payment for the plot, as the plot size would not fit two sets of ashes. We had to use funds saved for the monument for the right size plot. Lynn had kept her mom’s ashes so she could be buried together so the plot size needed had to be paid by us her family. The cost we paid was just under 2000$.

We would like Lynn to have a headstone, not anything extravagant, so that family and friends can find her resting place easier. The quote we received for a small 20”x 24” was 4100$ plus HST. We were told that if we do not buy the headstone before February to expect it to be much more expensive as the cost goes up in February.

We would also like to have a Celebration of Life for Lynn as she was well loved but those who knew her! She was a great mom, wife and sister! They hope to have enough funds to have her Celebration of Life in about a month. She deserves to be laid to rest and to have a beautiful headstone commemorating her life!

I am sending out Please and Thank You to all those that are able to help them reach this goal! Let’s put her to rest and remember her with happiness and smiles and not with tears.
