Lynn Lewandowski - Medical Expense Family Fund

Lynn Lewandowski, my niece and godchild, was diagnosed and has been fighting esophageal cancer that has metastasized into her stomach. My family and I wish to bring to your attention the immediate need to raise money which will allow Lynn and her family the ability to defer current and anticipated hospital and illness related expenses.  

Lynn is confronted with a very serious illness; esophageal cancer is a monster to beat.  Lynn has completed chemotherapy and radiation and her extensive surgery to remove most of her esophagus and stomach is next week.  This surgery is not without serious risk and will require significant recovery time as well as occupational therapy, physical therapy, and long-term adaptive eating and sleeping arrangements.
If necessary, Lynn will then be exposed to additional chemotherapy, radiation treatments and palliative care arrangements.

While we started this GoFundMe in May of this year, Lynn was insistent that we wait to publish this campaign until there was great need. Now is that time. The funds graciously received will be used toward physician, hospital and other medical and family expenses incurred during Lynn's cancer battle. Through your kind generosity, monies will greatly help to mitigate the financial impact on Lynn's family.

While her husband Marc and their children, ranging from seven to nineteen years in age, will support Lynn with love and encouragement, the mounting expenses would be impossible for them to confront without your generous financial assistance.
