Ly’s Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Hello my name is Daenaly Amador. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma on July 14, 2020. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the process was slowed and it took a couple months for doctors to determine what I have. I started with a cough which kept getting worse with time. My physician then ordered an X-ray, where they found a lump in my chest. After the lump was found I underwent CT scans, a biopsy, and a pet scan. Around the first week of June, I noticed my neck area started to swell. Not long after, I started to have severe itching throughout my whole body as well as other uncomfortable symptoms. I am currently in my 2nd session of chemo. My mom works to provide for me and my 15 year old sister but due to her being a single widowed mother, she stopped working to be able to care for me and drive me to my appointments. We live in Delano, CA and drive to Los Angeles for my treatments. I’ve created this fundraiser in order to not only help me during my journey, but to help others like me with Hodgkin’s in the future.
