LZ-Grace Meditation Garden Fund

Donation protected

Phase I Installation of the Meditation & Memorial Garden at LZ-Grace will begin on November 5, 2015, thanks to a generous $10,000 donation from AITEC Gives Back Foundation!  Ashton Lanscaping has taken our previous designs (donated by students at TCC) and my vision and created a space of solace and rest for our SOF Warriors returning home from combat.

The completed gardens will cost $45,000 more than we've received, so we need your help to complete the entire project and have it perfect and ready this fall for incoming Warriors.

In-kind donations of materials needed are also welcome. Please contact me if you or your company are interested in sponsoring all or part of the Meditation & Memorial Gardens at LZ-Grace.
Donors will be recognized with unique plaques, signage on the property, as well as on our website and social media outlets.

Every single Warrior who returns home from a combat tour experiences, in varying degrees, a dangerous combination of emotional and physical occurrences that affect the body, mind, soul and spirit. Too often, remaining silent, isolating, disconnecting from loved ones and overall exhaustion leads to the destruction of marriages, families, careers and self-inflicted death.

Landing Zone Grace (LZ-Grace) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a place for healing hearts, minds, souls and spirits of Warriors who are seeking post combat deployment support.

More specifically, it is a singularly-unique home and farm where active duty and veterans alike are provided the time and space to find what works for them as individuals in order to mentally and physically unpack their experience of war.

The sole mission of LZ-Grace is to provide Warriors with an intimate and secure place of retreat to ease the transition from war and reconnect with their life and their loved ones. All at no cost to the Warrior.

Since the acquisition of the property in June 2014, 193 active duty and Veteran Special Operations Forces, as well as Tier One Safety Personnel have come to LZ-Grace to participate in activities, have a meal around the table, fellowship at the fire pit, or a quiet moment to talk. LZ-Grace Warrior Retreat Foundation has raised over $110,000 for expansions and services, but more needs to be done.

We are abundantly grateful for your donations, support and prayers!
