Frisbee's Vet Care
Donation protected
We recently pulled a little Chihuahua cross named Frisbee from a high-kill shelter in California, where he was set to be put to sleep. Shortly after rescuing him, he had to be rushed to the vet clinic because he was having difficulty breathing. An exam and x-rays were done, and the results suggested he had pneunomia. We began treatment immediately, which included steam therapy, coupage, IV fluids, oxygen, and multiple antibiotics. Unfortunately, after a week in-hospital, his condition has worsened.
At this point, further diagnostic tests must be performed in order to determine why Frisbee is not responding to treatment. In addition to these tests, Frisbee must remain in the clinic receiving daily supportive care. The estimated bill for the next 7 days (including all diagnostic tests and hospitalization) is $2,700.
