Hello! My brain cancer story starts out with me being diagnosed in 2004 with a mixed glioma in the left frontal lobe of my brain. I had surgery, oral chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments. This last year when going back for my 10 year "clean" scan, the tumor had came back. The tumor had started growing in the tissue adjacent to my previous surgery area. I had surgery and I am now going through chemotherapy for 18 months. This time I was told that I have a grade 2 oligoastrocytoma. I am raising money to pay for the copays for the chemo, steroid, antinausea pill, anti-seizure medication, and other medications that keep me focused and up and running. I am back at work and working hard at staying above this. My prognosis is good. I appreciate anything you can do.
