M10 Missions: Mexican House Build
Donation protected
This summer I will be going on an amazing volunteering experience with M10 missions on the 30th July - 9th August to Ensenada, Mexico. The trip will last for 10 days and entails building houses for impoverished families, helping out in orphanages, befriending fellow teenagers in rehab centres, visiting a nearby church, meeting the local children and running workshops and sports days for them. I wanted to apply for this because I thought it would be a fantastic way to help other people that don’t have the same privileges that I do and to help make their lives better in whatever way possible. I am going to be organising some fundraising events between now and May to raise the total sum of £2000 needed to cover the cost of flights, materials, training and accommodation. On the 24th of March I am going to be doing a sponsored walk along a section of Hadrian’s Wall (exact details to be confirmed) and I have set up a GoFundMe, so any donations would be much appreciated. I will keep this page updated with my progress, thank you!
