Renee's Kick Cancer Fund

My sister Renee is one of the best Mom's I have ever seen and loves her three children to the moon and back.
She turned 40 on October 11, 2014. It was a big year for her and our family, as she also gave birth to her third child (and first boy) in January 2014 and sadly, we lost our Mother in July due to a degenerative neurological disorder. Renee returned to work as an Insurance Broker after her maternity leave in December.
Shortly thereafter, in January 2015 she celebrated her son's first birthday and second daughter's third birthday. She was also diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer and will be starting 4 months of chemo on February 26, to be followed by 6-8 weeks of rest and then a double mastectomy.
This has rocked her world, as well as all of her friend's and family and her main concern is always 'what about my kids'. She unfortunately also separated from her husband in December, so going on Long Term Disability is going to place a huge strain on her financially.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to help her remain in her home with her children and help cover her basic household expenses. She will also need help with - snowclearing, childcare in the evenings while going through chemo, taxis when she's too sick to drive and family aren't available, hospital parking for the many appointments she has ahead etc. etc.....
Renee is a generous and thoughtful person who will always help someone in need, including strangers. I know that when she gets through this, she will continue to pay it forward. She is already discussing how she wants to raise breast cancer awareness for breastfeeding women, as her issue was initially misdiagnosed.
Thank you for taking the time to read Renee's story and on behalf of Renee and her children Yasmine, Farrah and Mason, thank you for any and all donations.
