Help Support Max After Losing Everything in the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Please help my friend and colleague Max Geldman by raising funds to support him after the house he was renting and all of his family belongings were lost to the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA.
Max is a woodworker, educator, and Facilities Manager at Side Street Projects. He is my friend and colleague at an organization that deeply supports and cares for the community and artists. Max is always at the ready to help others, and always with a smile on his face.
His friends and colleagues at Side Street describe him as a thoughtful and kind teacher, friend, and coworker who is incredibly generous and helpful. He’s a huge support in his work at Side Street Projects and volunteering at other community organizations such as the Pasadena Buddhist Temple, Repair Cafe, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. He is community driven at heart and overall, a wonderful person.
Max lost everything in the fire – and like so many it’s difficult to know where to begin. With future housing uncertain, Max has temporary shelter with family but recovery from this will be a long and difficult process. Your donation will help support him in recouping difficult losses and to chart a path forward in rebuilding his life.
If you can’t support monetarily, please share with your network and folks who are looking for meaningful ways to help. Thank you!
