For The Sake of Aiden
Donation protected
On December 1, 2014, my nephew Aiden Zangrilli, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Marker 5) at 22 months of age. Yet with so much on his plate at such an early age, he makes us all realize the importance of living for the moment. Our little soldier has completed his second round of intensive chemotherapy and this little guy refuses to let cancer win. Unfortunately, the cancer will not go into remission without a fight. As of today, Aiden’s Leukemia is returning to his limbs. We are awaiting the bone marrow tests to identify the percentage in which it has returned.
As you would expect, medical bills and expenses are beginning to increase. Because of Aiden’s current status, he must now undergo two additional rounds of chemotherapy, which requires 6-9 months in-patient treatment. There is also a very real possibility Aiden may need a Stem Cell Transplant, which will incur additional costs.
My mother, Kim Zangrilli (grandmother aka “Nunny”), has been at Aiden’s side during this trying time. In order to be present throughout Aiden’s treatments, Kim has taken a leave from work. Without my mother working, money has been an additional burden on our family that has endured so much heartache.
Please find it in your hearts to consider donating to The Sake of Aiden.
