Despite Donna's valiant efforts, her journey took an unexpected turn as God called her home. Donna, who touched many lives in the community, would want to "shut the city down" for her homegoing. Funeral details will be shared soon, and during this difficult time, we kindly ask for privacy to allow the family to cope with this devastating loss. On October 10, 2023, Donna received the daunting diagnosis of Non-small cell carcinoma, with an immunophenotype favoring lung adenocarcinoma, at Stage 4. This news has left our community and Donna’s family in profound shock and heartache. The toll of this diagnosis means that Donna’s life will undergo significant changes, and she will need our support to navigate this trying journey. The financial burden of medical bills and treatments is a challenge she cannot face alone, which is why we turn to our community, united in our determination to stand by Donna as she fights this formidable battle.
