Uplift Philly Fest 2024

Oasis of Faith is a ministry grounded in the Nicetown/Tioga section of North Philadelphia; however, our vision is to impact the world for Christ. As part of our mission, we are involved in numerous community service activities over the years. We are partnering with Jerome Brown Playground to host an annual free community event. Our annual “Uplift Philly Fest” Community and Arts Festival, is on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Our goal is to help people to reach the full potential within them, beginning with meeting their needs. This is a free community event that will include a book bag giveaway, free food, live entertainment, Youth Zone and fun for all ages.

This event was formerly "Taking the Gospel 2 Da Streets". This is our 8th year bringing this event to the community. Over the years we have provided the youth of our community with hundreds of book bags with school supplies.

This year we have added a focus on the Arts to help uplift the community. There will be activities for children such as face painting, balloon animals, and a bounce house to name a few. Also, plenty of educational health and wellness information will be available for all.

Most importantly there will be an inspirational word from Bishop T.K. Grant, III, PhD, D.D.; Pastor and Founder of Oasis of Faith. Our goal is to reach our youth in a way that can bridge the generational gap in our communities. A free community event of this magnitude is costly. Therefore, we are asking for your financial support to assist us in making this event a success. Thank you so much!
