In the 1940's a lady by the name of Mame Roberts challenged citizens to clean up the dreary drive-through city of Howe, Texas and make it "The Prettiest Little Town in Texas." With her vision and work-ethic, she amazingly rallied the community to pull together as one and transformed the city from a boring passerby town into "The Prettiest Little Town in Texas" according to numerous publications including Readers Digest, The Rotarian Magazine and The Dallas Morning News.
In 2015, Keep Howe Beautiful will recapture Mame Roberts' vision and revive Howe to once again claim the title of "The Prettiest Little Town in Texas." Please join us in making our little home town a beautiful place, not only for our citizens, but for those that stop by. All money raised goes to the non-profit organzation Keep Howe Beautiful and will beautify our community of Howe, Texas.
