My friends and family. I come to you with my pride at my feet. My rent is due and I am struggling after the rough circumstances of the past several months. I was given a 5 day notice. I received approval for rental assistance but that isn’t valid til the June Rent. May is due and if I can’t pay the rent and fees in 5 days, my kids and I will lose our home. I have two interviews this week. I am willing to clean for you, yard work, child care, anything. I’m not asking for a handout.
Most of you have always said if I need anything, I need to say something and ask. This incredibly hard for me, but I’m asking.
Please, if you have $1, $2 to help my kids and I this month, any work for me, I would be forever thankful. I want to continue to provide them this security.
