Eff off Cancer!

We're raising money for my awesome sister who is a freakin Warrior! Trisha was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma in 2014 stage 3 brain cancer. Through the 1st year she underwent emergency surgery, 6 months of radiation (31 rounds) and a whole year of chemotherapy. The original surgery went well with scar tissue taking over the remaining cancer that they couldn't remove. Trisha's tumor had turned to scar tissue and blood tests had come back normal! MRIs even confirmed this.
Shortly after the 4 year mark, Trisha went in for her normal checkups (bloodwork and MRI) and the results showed abnormalities and a tumor inside her brain. The 2nd surgery was scheduled and while in there the doctors found many more small tumors that they removed but the deeper one was still too risky. Trial therapy treatments were suggested by the doctors but insurance quickly denied her. The tumor continued to grow slowly. Trisha was put on chemo again. Check ups showed the tumor was growing. Since trial treatments were not approved the doctor decided to try immune therapy. An immune therapy program that would be insurance approved about 3 months ago. Immune therapy Trisha is on effects the blood. Taking the nutrients out and in theory suffocate the tumor. BUT THE DAMN THING DOUBLED IS SIZE at her 2nd 6 weeks check up. The doctors were thrown aloof because every other person who has used that therapy had seen results. So, here she is, again.... Trisha is currently on a chemotherapy AND immune therapy schedule in hopes that a 3rd surgery is not needed.
So that's the story of all the pain Trisha has endured for the last 5 years. Thing is, if you know Trisha, you know that no matter how many times she gets knocked down, she gets right back up with a vengeance. F bombs, middle fingers and straight attitude. We all know this is hard on her but she brushes it off and just says "F#@k Cancer!"
Now, down to the nitty gritty of all this. These chemotherapy and immune therapy treatments are crazy expensive! Even with insurance deductibles met, 10% is still paid out of pocket for each treatment. We're asking for donations so there's no lapse in treatment which could have dire consequences.
Thank you to everyone who helps out. We love you all
!!We love you Trisha!!
