150 for Change -- Mount Kilimanjaro

Hello everyone!
We're a student led organization through the University of Guelph called 150 for Change. We're a team of nine students raising money to fund 150 educational tablets to be shipped overseas to a high school community in Tanzania, Africa, and we've partnered with the grassroots Canadian organization Rumie (www.rumie.org) to help make this happen!
The tablets we're supplying come fully loaded with interactive, educational software and learning content that will respond to Tanzanian high school curriculum. We're also working with students from local high schools in Guelph to help choose which materials would be most relevant and interesting to upload for similarly aged students overseas.
We are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in late December 2016 to help bring attention and raise awareness about the importance of accessible education and students connecting with fellow students around the world.
Our project also touches on themes of gender equality, environmental stewardship and indigenous - non indigenous collaboration.
We will use the funds donated to fund the production, packaging, shipping and distribution costs of the tablets.
Our team is incredibly grateful for any support you can provide us with, and we look forward to sharing our adventure with you!
