HURRICANE LAURA - LAKE CHARLES

As many of you know, my hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana was completely destroyed by Hurricane Laura on August 27th. The people of Lake Charles are in dire NEED of help. Please share this and donate if you can.
The Category 4 Hurricane hit Lake Charles with 150 mph winds and unsurvivable conditions. The catastrophic damage has left the city looking like a “war zone”. On top of facing a global pandemic, majority of peoples homes are now uninhabitable and businesses have been completely destroyed. Due to all of the damage, the people of Lake Charles will be without power and water for at least the next 4-6 weeks.
It’s absolutely heart breaking to see what all my family and friends are going through right now. This city means so much to me and I want to do everything in my power to help out the community during this devastating time. With that being said, my parents and I will be headed to Lake Charles the next couple of weekends to cook and provide meals for the community and essential workers. All of the money raised in this fundraiser will go directly to purchasing essential supplies for the people (listed below). My parents and I will be purchasing all of the supplies and hand delivering to the donation centers around the city. I want to be completely transparent with this whole process, so I will be sharing all of the receipts so you know exactly where your money is going.
We have a long road ahead, but the people of my city are resilient and I know we will get through this! If you find it in your heart to be able to help it would be greatly appreciated!!
