Hi Everyone,
My name is Suzanne Robb. I was born, raised and currently live in the beautiful state of Connecticut.
I was a single Mom, raising my son on my own. I worked waitressing jobs to make ends meet.
Finally when my son was old enough to be on his own, I went back to school and became a nurse. I have a passion for helping people and knew that God was calling me to help others.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. I had to have a mastectomy on my left side. Even though I was diagnosed with stage 3, prayers and the grace of God got me through it and I recovered. I was able to get through this time financially because I was employed, had long-term disability insurance, I had vacation time and my co-workers used their unused vacation time to donate to me. I had resources to help me get through this very challenging time.
Now, guess what, the cancer came back. I have been recently diagnosed with Metastatic breast cancer which settled in my bones and liver. Unfortunately I am in too much pain to work. So I don't have resources. I haven't worked in a year and have no disability insurance, no medical insurance (but I am on Medicade) and I am humbly reaching out for help.
My recommended treatment is Chemo for 12 months, every week. A shot every month of a bone builder, daily calcium and Vit D supplements as well as other supplements, and eating good, healthy food.
I need these funds now. I am down to $600 in my checking account, and that is it. I need to pay my mortgage, I need to pay my bills, I need to pay my doctor bills.
