WHO AM I?

Hello everyone…

Hello compassionate souls,

My name is Abdallah M Salem, you may know me online as heroolife92. Before the war, my Facebook account, @heroolife92, was a quiet corner of my life where I could talk about and make fanart for my favorite anime with friends online. Things have changed… to call the last six months of my life in Gaza a nightmare would be putting it far too lightly. My family and I have been stripped of every basic human right imaginable… we have watched our dreams, our health, our futures, and our lives wither away as we hear a constant barrage of rockets raining around us, not knowing if each one will be our last.

To keep my sanity early on in the war, I took to Facebook to document my thoughts whenever I had access to power. The response from all of you has been overwhelming, and I could never have imagined I’d have so many people checking up on me and giving me some sense of normalcy during the worst days of my life.

WHO AM I?

I am Abdullah M Salim. married and I have my beautiful daughter lien , a war survivor until now,

writing to you from the most unsafe place in the world, Gaza city, where the ongoing violence and oppression has turned every day into a battle for survival. I am Palestinian. I lived in Besieged Gaza, with my wife and 2 children my son Kariem 3 months born

and my doughter lien 4 years born.

We have known hardship all too well for many years, enduring the relentless challenges of living in a conflict zone .Yet I have provided many services to displaced people fleeing the death machine that is pursuing them and their dreams.

, but the current situation has plunged us into even deeper despair , facing homelessness , hunger and illness. So my Wife and I are reaching out for a chance to escape and build a new life out of here

situation intensifies, your support is not just a lifeline ,its a beacon of hope amidst the darkness . Together we can make a difference , bringing my family to safety and reigniting our dreams for a better future.

You are now reading what I wrote , being the knight who will contribute to saving me and my family from the death machine devouring everything in its path.

For me , before the war, I had a life that I slept with my eyes full of gratitude to god for it. I graduated From Faculty of Arts, Arabic Language Department and started working but there is no place left on gaza that was not destroyed . Also my Wife lost her work and her place was completely destroyed , nothing remained even our house was bombed and become rubble.

In the blink of an eye , our lives were upended, our homes lost, our dreams shattered . Displaced more than 6 times in search of safety , we have faced the harsh reality that there seems to be no sanctuary from the ongoing violence and instability.

We are running out of time and I really want to survive , I thought alot before starting to create a link on GoFundMe but I just want to make a try, we live under rockets , bombardment and airstrikes ,So I don’t want to be a number . I want to live in peace with my family without any of this , every thing here is not suitable for human life , everything is literally deadly.

I’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign with a desperate plea for help . Our sole mission is to evacuate my family from the violence and devastation engulfing Gaza . Every contribution , regardless of size, brings us closer to ensuring their safety and well being.

With each passing day, the urgency of our situation intensifies, your support is not just a lifeline ,its a beacon of hope amidst the darkness . Together we can make a difference , bringing my family to safety and reigniting our dreams for a better future.

We are trapped in Gaza, living in tents in rafah with the bare minimum access to water, food or the minimum basic needs. My family is at risk of dying at any second, if not from bombs, it will be from starvation, dehydration or disease.

Unfortunately We are trapped in Gaza We are not permitted to pass through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt.

Embarrassingly, the only glimmer of hope is to plead with you to fund them so that the money is used to Buying food, buying clothes, and purchasing special supplies to be able to live in the difficult, tragic conditions inside the refugee tents and pay a travel agency located in Egypt to assist them crossing into and resettling in Egypt, into safety. I would have never envisaged myself crowd funding for such a solution, but I wouldn't forgive myself for not doing everything and anything possible or imaginable to save our lives and get our into safety.
