Robotics Championship Trip St Louis
Donation protected
Dear Supporters,
FIRST FRC Team 3932, the Dirty Mechanics won the 2016 South Florida Regional on Saturday!!! It was such an exciting competition at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
We are officially invited to compete at the Championship in St. Louis, MO (April 27th – April 30th). The registration fee alone is $5000 for the Championship.
We have doubled our students involvement since 2014. Our community high school robotics team now consists of 43 students from 8 Boca Raton high schools (4 Palm Beach County Public Schools, 2 private schools and 3 home school groups.) Many of the students will need financial help to travel.
We estimate the cost to travel is approximately $750 per student (airfare, hotel, meals and other transportation). We do have several families on the team who can afford to send their children to St. Louis so they will not ask to share in our travel fundraising. This year we have many more students who will need financial help. This robotics program is a life changer for these students. You should have seen their excitement at the competition!!!
Our team operates as a 4-H club, so we are a non profit 501(c)(3) organization. If you would prefer to make a tax-deductible donation, please contact us.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Ellen Ferguson
