Help my dad walk again

Hi, my name is Victoria and this is my dad, Jim. A couple of years ago, he became very ill with a serious blood and bone infection. Later, we found out he was septic and did not know if he was going to make it. Back then, he almost lost his leg but was put on antibiotics to help keep this infection at bay. He has been in and out of the hospital for the past three, going on four years. Last February, we found him unresponsive in his apartment due to diabetic ketoacidosis because of this infection. He was septic again. He was taken to the hospital and placed in ICU and put on a ventilator. Unfortunately, because the infection was had spread, he had to have emergency surgery to remove his leg in hopes that, that would keep him alive. Today, he is alive, but has to live his life without a leg. He was in the nursing home for many months, but has since lost his insurance and can no longer afford to be in there and is unable to afford his prosthetic. He has been such a hard worker his entire life and does not deserve to go through any of this. I can’t stand to see him so sick. Please help my dad get his prosthetic! Any little bit would help and be so greatly appreciated!
