Emergency

My name is JaNica and I am the mother of Jayla Thomas who was a victim in the Mass Shooting in Muncie Indiana. Jayla was hit through her back and her abdomen hitting some vital organs. She is still in the hospital. I will not post a picture of her in the hospital bed due to not wanting everyone to remember her that way. Jayla has a 2 year old daughter and will not be able to work for a while. On July 30th our lives changed forever. This has had a great impact not only Jayla’s life but also her baby girl as well. The funds will be used for any medical, shelter expenses she has while is she is here in the hospital and after she is home. This is going to be a long recovery for everyone. Please keep us in your prayers.

UPDATE: Jayla is definitely a fighter. Jayla was hit with a stray bullet. Went through her back pierced her left kidney, hit her stomach and her small intestine. The physicians are not sure if there are any fragments left behind. She was finally able to have the G tube removed today after having to have it put back in. She is still on clear liquid diet.
