Yvette's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Yvette Mason has worked with Spring Hills Home Care since July 27, 2017. She worked with one of our longest Home Care clients, Trudy. As an employee we know she is dedicated to our agency, respectful, and reliable. Anything that is asked of Yvette, she will try her hardest to accomplish. Since December she has been working in our Spring Hills Assisted Living as an agency employee, and their team has learned to depend on her just as much as we do.
On May 3, 2022 while at work she received a call from a Maryland Police Officer stating her son, TJ, was air lifted to a local hospital due to an incident with his job. TJ cleaned windows for many businesses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, & Maryland. As he was cleaning a window, there was a live wire that was hidden from his view, and he was severely electrocuted and caught on fire. Upon arrival Yvette learned he was then air lifted to John Hopkins. 75% of TJ’s body is severely burned, multiple surgeries that have occurred already & more to come, with a long recovery ahead. Yvette is trying to continue to work to support her grandchildren, and be with him as much as possible through his surgeries and recovery. She is driving 2+ hours multiple times a week and staying overnight in Baltimore. The price of food, gas, tolls, etc. is something she is paying for completely on her own and it is adding up quickly.
We are asking if any of our Spring Hills family would like to donate money to help Yvette during this time, to please let us know. Candice Elsesser, Business Operations Manager with Spring Hills Home Care Services, NJ is collecting all donations
