Support Allison's Healing Journey

Our family has been going through a lot this past year and we wanted to share it with you all.
I am starting this page for my childhood friend, Allison. On August 13th, she will undergo a craniotomy to remove the cavernous malformation in her brain. While her family is grateful for access to a treatment plan, this will be a challenging chapter ahead.
In May of 2023, Allison suffered a spontaneous Intracerebral Hemorrhage. She spent five days in the Neuro ICU recovering. Doctors discovered bleeding from an unknown source into her lower cerebellum and brain stem. This caused issues with her vision and balance for weeks and took over 9 months to resolve. During this time, she has undergone a challenging season of appointments, scans, and procedures in an effort to discover the cause of the hemorrhage. Now, over a year since the original hemorrhage, doctors have discovered a Cavernous Malformation (CCM) in her cerebellum, which is treatable with surgery.
While Allison focuses on her health and getting better, we want to ensure she is not burdened by the financial strain of medical bills, rehabilitation, and other associated costs. Your support will help cover:
- Surgical Costs: The expenses related to the craniotomy and hospital stay.
- Post-Surgery Care: Rehabilitation and follow-up treatments.
Most importantly, Allison will need all the positive energy and prayers she can get as she prepares for this major surgery and recovery.
I would love to help support Allison during this upcoming season of life. Your help will not only ease her financial burdens but also provide her with emotional strength and encouragement.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
