Help!!!
Due to a recent change in Federal Loan awarding for certificate programs, I am no longer eligible to receive financial assistance in my K-12 Music Teacher Licensure program.
Consequently, I am left to come up with $9,720 by the fall of 2015 for my student teaching tuition.
In addition to attending school, I am currently working part-time in an administrative role at a non-profit music school to pay my bills, and teaching private flute lessons on weekends to squirrel away money in my savings account (which I will use to cover my bills while I am student teaching).
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

What is student teaching?
Student teaching is basically a non-paid, required internship education majors must complete in a school before teacher licensure can be obtained.
Why can’t you work a part-time job during student teaching?
Being a student teacher requires you to be at the school as if you were a paid, full-time, faculty member. As a student teacher, you are essentially shadowing your cooperating teacher. If the cooperating teacher stays after school, so do you. Also, working part-time during student teaching is strongly discouraged by the university.
