Help Lynne get her boots back on!

Hello!
My name is Nichole, and I am reaching out to the community for assistance in the name of my dear friend, Lynne. On September 28th, 2023, Lynne took a hard fall on a trail run and, shortly after, began experiencing debilitating nerve-related hip and back pain. This pain has led to several months of doctor's appointments, MRI scans, steroid injections, and an ER visit due to an adverse reaction to medication. It was finally determined that Lynne had a significant tear in her hip labrum that was not going to heal itself. They also found a herniated disc between her L ⅘ that could put her into surgery in the future. On January 4th, Lynne had surgery to repair the labrum and will be unable to function normally or go about her normal life for several months.
Lynne has been unable to work, except for a few part-time hours in December, since October last year. Post-surgery, she is looking at several more months of being out of work. She is self-employed and does not receive disability, PTO, or sick leave, and although she has insurance, her deductibles and out-of-pocket costs have, so far, totaled $25,000. It goes without saying that Lynne could use our help in this challenging time, and for someone who has dedicated her life to helping others and has never asked for anything from anyone, I hope we can come together and show up for Lynne, just as she has shown up for us. No one should suffer from medical debt, and when we can all show up for each other, it doesn't take much from us individually to impact the life of someone we care about.
Anyone who knows Lynne knows that she gives the shirt off her back and then some for anyone who needs help. In her thirty years of living in Breckenridge, CO, she has dedicated her life to helping countless people with their physical and emotional pain through her acupuncture business, many of whom have been able to count on her not only as a practitioner but as a friend. She founded a successful running group in Summit County that has created solid friendships and continues to build a strong running community in the town. I watched her organize, lead group runs, and maintain an active community of like-minded people, all while working full-time, attending classes, training for ultra marathons, rock climbing, and being a mother and caregiver to her mom.
Personally speaking, Lynne was the first friend I made when I moved to Summit County in 2015, and I have continuously been in awe of her compassion, tenacity, and ability to look at every challenging situation thrown her way as an opportunity for growth. Lynne has been through a lot since I have known her, and she has never asked for help. I have watched her continue to help others in need, including me, while she probably should have been the one asking for help. Let's come together so Lynne can focus on healing and restoring her health and life.
Thank you in advance for all your donations.
