Stand by Geoff Gong! Cancer care.

Geoff was well known as the gracious and generous owner of Samurai Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. He and his lovely wife, Helen (whose legal maiden name is Yoot Goh), held fundraising events netting sizable donations to benefit Barton Hospital. Geoff had to retire from his business after a severe heart attack in 2011. Unfortunately, it happened at the peak of the recession. After losing his restaurant and his Tahoe home, he moved to lower altitude at the Bay Area. He was unable to work due to a series of medical issues.

A month ago, Geoff was diagnosed pancreatic cancer requiring the placement of a stent in the common bile duct due to the size of the cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy is scheduled for next month. Surgery is out of question unless his general health improves drastically. Helen provides full time care for Geoff and no longer able to work. They need some help for rent and credit card debts. They are much too modest to ask for help, hence the effort to start this campaign for them.
