London Marathon 2025 - my 1st (and final?) marathon distance
Donation protected
I’m running the London Marathon this year and fundraising for three special people in my life…
1. My goddaughter Ruby (charity: Embrace). The smiliest little girl with the best mum, dad, brother and sister. Embrace is a small charity based in Bedfordshire that works with families living with disabilities. These families deal with *a lot* and deserve all the support, fun and opportunities that can be offered so hopefully we can contribute in some small way to that.
2. My father-in-law Neville (charity: Alzheimer’s Society). Neville’s good humour and kindness made me feel welcome in the extended Baldwin clan from day 1. He’s shown Andy and I so much support in the 17 (!) years since and this is a small gesture of support back to him – and everyone who finds themselves in the Alzheimer’s community.
3. And finally, in memory of my dad Chris Gray (charity: Macmillan Cancer Support). My dad taught me that I can do hard things. And with a smile on my face. I hope I can channel some of his grit in that last 10k, I think I'll need it...
I’ll split funds raised equally across the three charities after marathon day (27 April 2025) and share the donated totals/receipts on here. Thanks for reading, and thank you for donating if you're able to.
