Keeping Afloat

Hello to you reading this, I am grateful for your time. My name is Sarah, I’m a 27 year old seasonal firefighter & single mom to a beautiful 9 year old girl.

I hate to be at this point of turning to hopeful kind hearted strangers to help me keep the life I’ve worked so hard to have with my daughter, but it’s where I’m at.

Unfortunately, this last season of Fire I returned extremely late in the season putting me extremely far back in finances. I had to take out 2 different loans over the summer to keep our home, and it’s all catching up now that season is over again & I didn’t have the time to save as I usually would. 

Now it’s time to reapply for unemployment but we’ve all at least heard how long that can take and I won’t even hear from them for at least a couple more weeks.

I’m at the end of the line for luck and patience and don’t really have the support system to be able to fall on for this.

I’ve become a woman of many trades and utilize those every way I can to make more money but it’s still not keeping the wolves at bay.

I don’t know how i’m going to manage paying bills this month and it breaks my heart to think I may have to uproot the home I worked so hard to give my daughter..

so if you’re reading this now, and have the ability and want to help, it would truly make a difference in our lives. I feel as if I constantly at the edge of success and yet still find myself being on the brink of completely losing.
