Help mother and son move into their home

Ruth is a single working mother, community gardener and organizer, birth doula, and a survivor active in the movement to end gender based violence. She and her son Nihon need our help. Nihon has been struggling with respiratory illness for quite a while now and has been diagnosed with asthma. They are working on his treatment plan now and his pediatrician has recommended that they move away from the bus line where they currently live. They have an opportunity to move into a home that Ruth owns but the house needs some work before it can be moved into. All the pipes were stolen from the home last year and they are in need of plumbing as well as heating. The costs are estimated to be $6000. Let’s support this woman who has given so much to so many.
