215 km for 215 chidren
Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit INDIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL SURVIVORS SOCIETY, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
We ride for the 215 who cannot ride. We ride to support those who are dealing with the loss and trauma of the 215 lost loved ones. We ride to show support for those who suffered from the Indian Residential School System. We ride to raise funds for counselling and support services for the survivors. We ride because we care. We are Paul Varga and Linda Goff.
On June 19-20, we will be riding 215 kilometres, from Penticton to the Kamloops Indian Residential School, to pay our respects to the students who went there, and those who never returned. One kilometre for each child.
Our goal is to show our support and to do what we can to build awareness, but should you wish to show your support for programs dedicated to the survivors, please follow the links to our GoFundMe page.
Should you wish to join us on the ride, feel free to join the ride for as many kilometres as you can. We will be starting from the Peach in Penticton at 8 a.m. on June 19 and overnighting in Vernon, with a mountain in between us and our goal the next day. On Sunday, look for us to start at the O’Keefe Ranch at 8 a.m.
