Susana Longoria

On behalf of the Longoria Velasquez family I’ve been asked to set up this go fund me for my dear friend Susie Longoria as her family faces this great tragedy of losing a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt.

As we all know by now Susie was tragically taken from us on September 11, 2023 on her way back home after attending class at the TCC south campus, she was 31 years old.

There are no words that can explain the heaviness my heart feels at this tremendous loss and having to do this for her. I can only thank God for allowing such a beautiful soul to enter my life and gifting me the joy of this oh so short friendship. Losing her so suddenly and unexpectedly is something truly unimaginable, and something that we will never be able to heal from. Susie touched the lives of everyone around her with her positive outlook in life, her infectious personality and her smile as bright as the sun. My dear friend will truly be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. Susies love and dedication to Val (Valerie) and seeing her happy and taken care of was one of her biggest motivation to further herself to establish a better future for her. It’s incredibly tragic she lost her life trying to accomplish just that.

We are all devastated by Susie’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of funeral services. We want to give her the memorial she deserves to honor her memory the best way we can and to say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of her funeral. All proceeds from this fundraiser will first go to cover funeral expenses, and anything left over will go to her mom to help with supporting her daughter, Val, through this tragic time.

Please keep her family in your prayers as they transition through this difficult time and we thank everyone who is able to contribute to anything to help get through this.
