Mabel’s IVDD Surgery

Mabel, our one year old french bulldog, suddenly became overwhelmed with pain in her lower back on 6/1. We were given pain meds and sent home to

monitor her, but soon realized she

was losing function of her back legs. After an emergency vet trip it was recommended we have an MRI under general anesthesia and potential spinal surgery. We won’t know more until the MRI is completed, but it’s very possible she herniated a disc in the middle region of her spine.

We love our Mabel girl so much and it’s so sad seeing her in this amount of pain. The cost is overwhelming but we will do anything to get our girl walking again. The MRI alone is nearly 5k and the spinal surgery can be anywhere between 8-10k.
