Mac Richardson Vet Fund

Hi, my name is Erin and I’m fundraising for my sister and brother-in-law’s dog Mac.

Most people know Jessie and Kevin Richardson, and there to furry sidekicks, Rubi and Mac.

Unfortunately, Mac exhibited some unusual behavior this morning and was rushed to the emergency room where they found a grapefruit size tumor attached to his spleen. They believe part of it ruptured and that was the cause of his acute symptoms. He went into emergency surgery to remove the tumor and spleen. It’s unknown if Mac will survive. He’s in ICU care currently and we’re praying for a full recovery and that his tumor is not malignant.

This was unexpected and a very large surgery. Mac is a relatively young dog and in great physical shape. We want to give Jessie and Kevin more years with one of their best friends. If you’d like to donate to help with their vet bills, we would greatly appreciate it.

9/7 Update: Mac ate a little food this morning and has been released to go home. Barring his blood cell counts remain stable he can stay home to continue to recover. We will update everyone with lab results of the tumor and any significant changes.
