Mac's Funeral Services

It is with an extremely heavy heart and more uncomfortableness than I can even describe that I swallow my pride and ask for help. As you may or may not have known, my brother Mac Stott recently passed away from the Coronavirus. He was in a hospital in Northern California and none of the family was allowed to even visit him in his final days, and FaceTime was the closest we could get to him. If that wasn’t bad enough, he also did not have any life insurance, which means the expenses for his services are due immediately. The family and I have pooled all possible resources we have between us, but we have fallen $5,700 short of being able to hold his funeral and pay for his cremation. I’ve done everything in my power to get this handled amongst the family, but we have hit a roadblock and may end up having to postpone the funeral until the money can be collected for the funeral home. We had already advertised the services for this week, but have had to cut back the cemetery portion of the service and may have to move the date if we can’t reach this goal.

 

I know that during these times (all of 2020 basically) that all of us are having challenges and difficult times. This makes it even harder for me to ask for help at a time when I know so many people are struggling. However, I am asking that if you can contribute anything to this fund, my family and I would be extremely appreciative beyond words. It’s hard to even type this through the tears I have flowing about the entire situation, but I honestly have hit the limit and have nowhere else to turn.
